Project Overview

A canteen facility is a supplementary system that is provided by organizations for their employees. This smart billing system is a point of sale system which makes billing using smart card easily.


1.Multiple retail outlets are connected through this billing and a centralized system is used to monitor all retail outlets through live monitoring

2.This is for particular organization’s employees in multiple branches. This application can be used with help of cloud and without cloud technology.

3.By scanning the care it show the balance need to pay/ already paid amount. Based on this the user is instructed to pay the balance amount.

4. Each person of the canteen is provided with unique ID card with a QR code.

5. When QR code was shown in QR reader it provides all the details of the person

  • Name
  • ID
  • Gender
  • Address
  • Number of products he/she purchased
  • Total cost of purchase
  • Date and time of purchase.
  • Purchased details bases on all category.
  • Number of product he/she has eligible to buy.

6. The QR code contains all the details of the Person.

7. The QR code is coded with his unique ID.

8. Encryption was done on QR code to make it highly secure.

9.Software provides all the information about message like how many messages send, no of recipients, date and time of message sent.
